We spent a few days in Faro, Portugal in April - drawing, drinking coffee, then wine, and being out in the sun. It was grand.
This print is made from a drawing done in the old town there - while everyone seemed to be having siesta, we sat on a bench watching: every five minutes or so something would agitate the pigeons and they would all flutter up and flap about a bit, then settle back down in different positions. It was like some kind of memory test or performance. A special Mediterranean Pigeon game.
Silkscreen printed in three colours on cartridge paper, each print measures an easily frame-able 30 x 40cm approx. The edition is 20 and each one is hand numbered. Prints are sent flat, wrapped between boards.
