Multi-layered silkscreen print of a sweet Squirrel in amongst some yellow poppies.
These are layered up in-situ in the print studio, without too much prior planning; seeing what happens and how the coloured inks and image elements interact in the moment. They're short runs, ranging from one-offs to editions of 5.
There's a kind of seventies vibe to this colour palette - all the colours are nice and warm and the overlays are rich. The squirrel's expression is cheeky with a bit of 'have i forgotten something' thrown in... classic squirrel.
This squirrel has been hand screen printed with water based inks in an edition of 5, signed and numbered, on heavyweight paper. Size 8x10" (203 x 254mm approx) with the image being approx 105mm x 148mm.
