The Clarendon Way screenprinted zine
The Clarendon Way is a 26ish mile walking route between Salisbury and Winchester here in the UK. We walked it over two days in June and I made this screenpritned zine about it.
The first day was very wet (wringing out our socks while leaning on a gate kind of wet) but the rain made everything smell GREAT, the birds were singing under the tree canopy, and we stopped at The Silver Plough for chips and cider, to dry our shoes by the fire (yes, in June) and to delight in the portrait of Pat Butcher on the door to the ladies. Day two was sunny and breezy and a more open route with the beautiful chalk river Test, hills and farmland, Red Kites and Hares.
I've screen printed this little fold out zine about it, with illustrations and text inside and a map on the reverse. It's screen printed in two colours on 200gsm cartridge paper and makes a lovely gift for walkers, or someone you'd like to take on a walk.
If you'd like more info about the route you can find it on the Long Distance Walkers Association website ldwa.org.uk
It's A3 size, folded down to A6 (pocket) size and will be posted flat with support to stop bending.
