Multi-layered silkscreen print of an ultramarine Swallow swooping low over Buttercups.
These are layered up in-situ in the print studio, without too much prior planning; seeing what happens and how the coloured inks and image elements interact in the moment. There's a lovely deep colour where the swallow lays over the green & yellow of the buttercup which makes the ultramarine really sing :) They're a nice small run of just 5, hand screen printed with water based inks, signed and numbered, on heavyweight paper. Size 8x10" (203 x 254mm approx) with the image being approx 105mm x 148mm.
